Sorry for my lack of posting...I haven't even posted my song of the week yet which I am going to get done after I post this. My Grandma (some refer as mom) never the less, partially the foundation of my family had a massive heart attack and it's taking a huge tole on my family and I. My winter break from school is over and I found it so hard to focus on my school work let alone my blog. I was breaking down crying all day. I can't imagine my life without her and it's sad that it took a tragedy like this for my family to come back together...but it's also very touching to how many reached out to me regarding her. Getting sober has been so very hard for me but this hasn't affected my sobriety because that's what she wants for me. She wants me to be sober and to be a good mom. She told me that and seeing the way I did was really hard but I'm hoping our love for her and for each other can give her the strength to go on because none of us are ready to lose her. So for her I've compiled a group of my favorite quotes having to do with my strength: she's one of the strongest woman I know, how strong my family is through all of this; it fits the situation. Normally I would be depressed and when it all first happened I admit, I had my freak out I've cried for 24 hours. But she wants us all to be strong and she needs it right now if she's going to pull through...
That which does not kill us, makes us stronger.
-Fredrich Nietsche
We gain strength and courage, and confidence by each experience in which we really stop to look fear in the face...we must do which we think we cannot.
-Eleanor Roosevelt
Only the weak are cruel; Gentleness can only be expected from the strong.
-Leo Buscgalgia
We can be tired, lonely, and emotionally distraught; but after spending time alone with God we find that He injects to our energy, power, and strength.
-Charles Stanley
Where there is no struggle; there is no strength
-Oprah Winfrey
