I was reading up on what coffee can do for your face and I was surprised at how many benefits it has for your face. I was also surprised because I barely had any coffee grounds left, but this was a very positive thing because I got to try them in a cool facial mask. I was interested because today was one of those days that I woke up crying, feeling emotional and coffee is supposed to reduce puffiness. Did it work? Oh yes and did so much more!
What you will need:
Step 1: Grind Up The Oatmeal
Step 2: Mix in the Coffee and Yogurt
Step 3: Apply to your face
Step 4: Rinse off with warm water
- 1 Tablespoon of ground coffee
- 1 Tablespoon of oatmeal
- 2 Tablespoons of plain yogurt
Take your tablespoon of oatmeal and grind it up. You can use a food processor or if you're like me and own a Magic Bullet, use the Magic Bullet to grind up the oatmeal into a powder.
Doesn't matter what order you put them in, all that matters is that you blend it all together. If you're like me, I blended the oatmeal powder and ground coffee together and than added the yogurt. This is what my mask looked like.
Leave this mask on for 20-30 minutes. Warning, everyone who walked past me in the house was like WOW you look funny. lol.
When rinsking it off be sure to rub your face in circular motions. This is the only face mask that after I've done it had someone say, "Wow your face looks really good" after. Yeah you can still tell I was crying but damn my skin looks pretty amazing!
