So tonight I was wondering an EASY dinner idea because I didn't feel like doing a bunch of dishes and cleaning up and I also didn't feel like doing a bunch of cooking, kinda working on an ice cream cake for my frineds birthday with homemade cake, homemade ice cream, homemade everything and on top of that have been trying to inspire myself because I want to make it look like ana wesome Star Wars cake. So anyways, needless to say I've been kind of busy with that and I just didn't feel like defrosting some meat, pulling everything out, etc.
& Than I Got To Thinking.......
We have a lot of leftovers because we are a female household and I always make an abundance of food. My favorite breakfast growing up, was when my grandpa would make Fried Spaghetti on Saturday or Sunday morning when we had leftover spaghetti from a previous dinner. I don't know why but it was always so delcious. Now the sad thing is my grandpa passed away a decade ago so I kind of had to remember how he made it and add my own twist. So I did and let me just tell you, we have no more left over spaghetti.
Sorry, No Recipe Card For This One
It is just no necessary because honestly you can make it however you want to. I come from an Italian family so this is how we prefer our fried spaghetti but if Italian isn't quite your thing you can always make it taste the way you want to. I thought this was the only way to make it until today when I google searched it. I wasn't aware people literally fried spaghetti like they do chicken, kinda weird to me. You Can Say Goodbye To All That Leftover Spaghetti.
The Way Papa Made It
Ingredients
First, Start Frying
Wow this is easy; Keep Frying
- Leftover Spaghetti
- Italian Seasoning
- Garlic Salt
- Pepper
- Olive Oil
- Parmesan Cheese
- Large Frying Pan
Turn stove on to medium heat. Pour a good amount of olive oil into the pan (I do no measure out anything while making this which is another thing I LOVE about making it) and put a good amount of spaghetti in the pain. I like to mix it around and make sure that all the spaghetti is coated in olive oil. Then I add a little bit of garlic salt, italian seasoning, and pepper. Mix it around for a bit. Make sure to stir frequently.
After about 2-3 minutes of frying I add a generous amount of parmesan cheese and mix it all in. I Usually fry it for about 7 more minutes and than you're done & it's ready to serve. This was the easiest dinner ever, & this tiime there was absolutely NO leftovers!
