Pink Heart Meringue Cookies

Out of idea's of what you can make for Valentine's Day? Well these are my all time favorite cookies in the whole world & they are a lot easier to make than you are probably thinking; with that being said - keep reading!

Ingredients/Tools Needed:

  • 5 Egg Whites
  • 1 1/4 Cups of Granulated Sugar
  • Pink Food Coloring
  • Cookie Sheet
  • PAM Spray
  • Electric Mixer
  • Storage Bag

Step One:

Beat your egg whites until they are very frothy and bubbly. I beat mine for about 5 minutes

Step Two:

Start beating in your sugar - about 1/4 cup at a time. Continue to beat them in.

Step Three:

Preheat Oven to 200 Degrees

Continue to mix the egg and sugar mixture in the electric on medium/high for about 35 minutes (or until you can no longer touch it and feel sugar not dissolved & it looks like whipped cream

Step Four:

When your almost done mixing add about 3 or 4 drops of pink food coloring until mixed thoroughly.

Take your cookie sheet and spray it with the PAM spray.

Step Five:

Place the finished mixture in a storage bag (or piping bag)**** and snip the end - on the cookie sheet draw pink hearts and fill them in evenly - do this until you run out of the mixture.

*you can place the bag in a glass to make it a little bit easier.

Finishing Up

Place cookie sheet in the oven for 30 minutes or until they easily slide off the pan. & you're done. My favorite treat in the whole world is one of the easiest to make ever! Just in time for Valentine's Day! Yum!
