If you're anything like me, odds are you where quite a bit of eye make up. I wear your usual face make up and I actually use BareMinerals BUT I love having dramatic eye make up. Here's an example:
Yeah I know I wear a lot of make up and I could care less what anyone thinks I just love doing my make up and love the way I look with make up on.
Going to bed with make up on, is a completely different story.
Do not love it. For awhile I bought this make up remover from Walmart but sometimes it would be difficult to get down to the store or have the money to buy it. Plus it didn't really work that good. These 3 methods of removing make up, I have PERSONALLY used at some point. After the three are listed I'll share with you my favorite method and why, here it goes.
Coconut Oil
Directions to Use Coconut Oil TO Remove Makeup:
- Take a small amount of coconut oil and rub into your palms to liquidfy
- Rub your eyes until you feel the mascara come off
- Take a q tip, cotton ball, or cotton pad and wipe away the black smears.
- Rub your face (if wearing face make up)
- Wipe your face with a cottonm ball or cotton pad.
- Follow with a facial scrub.
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Directions to Use Olive Oil to Remove Makeup:
- Apply a small amount of olive oil on to a cotton ball, cotton pad or q tip
- Wipe away all mascara and face make up
- **OPTIONAL: Put some milk on a cottonball and wipe your face for any remaining make up
- Follow with a facial scrub.
Lotion
**NOTE: Although any lotion will work, I highly recommend either Baby Lotion or The Powder Fresh one by suave, I have found these to work the best.
Directions to Use Lotion to Remove Makeup:
- Apply some lotion to a cotton ball, q tip, or cotton pad
- Wipe away all eye make up
- Repeat Step 1
- Wipe away all facial make up
- Follow with a facial scrub
& The Winner Is.......
I'm not lying when I say that Coconut Oil was the BEST INVESTMENT I ever made! This is the only one out of the three that has gotten all of my make up off so easily! and my skin feels so soft and healthy afterwards. It costs a little more to get ococnut oil but let me tell you . you won't be regretting it when your skin is feeling so soft and healthy! I am HOOKED.
